About My Kids Dentist

Dr. Brown’s top priorities are your child’s comfort and satisfaction. He and his staff look forward to your family visit and to showing you the many ways in which the finest dental care can improve your child’s life.

Dr. Brown has worked and trained extensively to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted, personalized dental care. He consistently brings his patients only the best that modern dentistry has to offer, by keeping himself and his staff informed on the latest advances and available techniques. After receiving his B.S. from the University of Colorado, Dr. Brown graduated earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Colorado School of Dentistry. While in dental school Dr. Brown was honored with various awards, most special to him being the Dr. Solomon Averbach Humanitarian Award that recognized his ability to demonstrate compassion in patient care.

Dr. Brown realizes that children deserve to experience a gentle, positive approach to their dental care. Their early dental experience will help them build confidence and knowledge, setting a great precedent for their future dental health. Since then, he has been kept up-to-date on the newest developments in his field. He has completed a two-year specialized pediatric dental residency at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He remains active in the dental community as a member of Arizona Dental Association, American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Brown also enjoys being an active part of his community. He currently enjoys working as the Yavapai College Roughrider Soccer Team Dentist, as a former Roughrider soccer player himself. Dr. Brown still enjoys playing soccer, when he gets the opportunity, as well as coaching youth soccer.

In addition to soccer Dr. Brown also participates in Boy Scouts of America and the Yavapai College Roughrider Club. One of Dr. Brown’s passions is giving back to his community. He participates in SAVE, The Prescott Lion’s Club, in cooperation with the Prescott Unified School District, and Yavapai Regional Medical Center.  These are just a few of the ways Dr. Brown and My Kids’ Dentist give back to the community. Dr. Brown also loves to participate in dental mission trips. He has served in Guatemala, as well as Mexico and looks forward to many more opportunities.
